These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the LV Compare website, insurance comparison experience, and advisor CRM services operated by Services Financiers Yves Aubin.
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Purpose of the Service
LV Compare provides a guided way to collect insurance-related information, compare available options, and support follow-up with an advisor. Its authenticated CRM helps authorized team members manage client relationships and send communications.
The Service does not itself issue insurance policies, guarantee coverage, bind an insurer, or replace the advice and final review of a licensed advisor or insurance provider.
Eligibility and Accounts
You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. Authenticated CRM access is limited to authorized users invited to an active LV Compare workspace.
You must provide accurate information, safeguard your credentials, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You may not share an account or attempt to access another user or workspace without authorization.
Insurance Information and Recommendations
Quotes, estimates, comparisons, and recommendations are informational and may change after an insurer or advisor reviews complete application details, underwriting requirements, eligibility, and applicable rules.
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. A displayed option is not an offer, approval, or guarantee of price or coverage.
Connected Mailbox Integrations
Authorized CRM users may connect a Google account so LV Compare can send email from that account. The integration requests basic Google identity information and Gmail send-only permission. It does not request permission to read or synchronize the connected inbox, received messages, or drafts.
Authorized CRM users may also connect a Microsoft account. Microsoft grants the delegated User.Read, Mail.ReadWrite, and Mail.Send permissions because the Nylas delivery service requires both mail permissions for sending. LV Compare uses this access only to identify the mailbox and deliver user-initiated or separately enabled CRM messages; it does not provide inbox reading or synchronization features.
You control whether to connect or disconnect a mailbox. Automated renewal sending is disabled by default and must be enabled separately.
You are responsible for the recipients, content, timing, and legal basis of communications sent through your connected account, including any consent, anti-spam, and unsubscribe obligations that apply.
Communications
If you consent to receive SMS messages, message frequency may vary and carrier message or data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe and HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.
Email recipients may use the unsubscribe mechanism included in applicable commercial messages. Service and transactional communications may still be sent when necessary to provide the Service or respond to a request.
Acceptable Use
You may not use the Service unlawfully; misrepresent your identity; interfere with security or availability; introduce malicious code; scrape or access data without authorization; send deceptive, abusive, or unsolicited communications; or infringe another person’s rights.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse, or enforce these Terms.
Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including identity, hosting, communications, analytics, insurance, and mailbox-authorization services. Their services may be governed by separate terms and privacy policies.
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual Property
The Service, its design, software, and original content are owned by Services Financiers Yves Aubin or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
You retain ownership of information you submit. You grant us the limited rights needed to process that information and provide the Service in accordance with our Privacy Notice.
Availability and Liability
We work to keep the Service accurate, secure, and available, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Interruptions, delays, or errors may occur.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits rights granted by mandatory consumer-protection law.
Governing Law and Changes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Quebec and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory rights you may have under the laws that apply where you live.
We may update these Terms as the Service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or website before they take effect when reasonably possible.
